Peter Lippman reports on his weeks in Palestine and Israel in August 2002. He spent time in the Deheishe refugee camp near Bethlehem and in Balata. It is clear that in Balata he stayed in the same threatened house in which I stayed in June. It is still there, and tanks and bulldozers are still rumbling thru the camp at night terrorizing the people, and the internationals in the house.
