ARTICLES ABOUT YANOUN Adam Maor is one of the "Refuseniks" -- young Israelis who for reason of conscience have refused to serve in the Occupied Territories. His experience in Yanoun was one of the reasons which led him to refuse to serve. The article is the testimony given at the Israeli military court in Jaffa on the 15th of July, 2003. Adam and four others were given one year sentences for refusing to serve in the Occupied Territories. See Amnesty International for more details. Their sentences are being appealed. |
