Find Israel on the Map. It makes up 78 per cent of the Palestine Mandate given to Britain to administer after WWI. Next find the grey area that is the West Bank (of the Jordan River). This plus the miniscule Gaza strip make up the 22 per cent which should be the country Palestine, but has been occupied for 36 years by Israel. Of the 22 per cent of the original Palestine, 58 per cent of that has been confiscated for Jewish settlers. So 42 per of 22 percent leaves 9 percent for Palestinians. Yanoun is squeezed into that 9 percent.
