Rashid Fehmi of Upper Yanoun takes his sheep to the watering trough at the village spring. Rashid is one of the most peaceful people I know. In spite of having his tractor (the only one in the village) shot up by a gang of vicious settlers, he shows no hatred toward them. If Islam means "peace" then he has internalized the message. Rashid and I became good friends during my 18 days in Yanoun.
